Appirio to Acquire Saaspoint and Accelerate Global Expansion |

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 9, 2011) - Appirio, a technology-enabled services provider that helps enterprises power their businesses with the cloud, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Saaspoint, the most experienced European-based provider of cloud consulting services. Saaspoint brings Appirio an even deeper bench of experienced cloud consultants, as well as a physical presence in the U.K. and Ireland. The acquisition, Appirio's fourth this year, supplements Appirio's existing presence in the U.S., Japan and India, and will form a foundation for aggressively building out more broadly into Europe.
